SAVE AMERICA'S CINEMAS (SAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Agency dedicated to providing financial assistance in saving many localized American Cinemas from closing as they are unable to afford the required high digital conversion costs from 35mm equipment.

SAC will secure the opportunity for area resident moviegoers to continue to be inspired and entertained, as so many of us were as kids, for decades to come.
With our celebrity supporters and all of your support, we will help keep our children's dreams alive and expanding. Most importantly - preserving much of our heritage which has made America so inspirational wile PRESERVING 10's of Thousands Of Jobs.

The idea for SAVE AMERICA'S CINEMAS came to Walter T Shaw, film producer, in late October of this year. Doing some research and getting some positive feedback, it only took a few weeks to obtain some firm support and begin the operations of SAC. First filling all necessary documents and receiving acknowledged support from Digital Manufacturers of Projectors, Screens, Sound Equipment, Servers, and installation set ups, promotional sponsorships, theater owners plus film industry organizations, major notable film distributors and recognizable celebrities, it became apparent that SAC would soon become a driving force in leading a national campaign expanding an awareness to help aid hundred's of needy small cinemas across the nation.
